dVCM Updates #

  • Case Study Progress: Continuing research and writing on the article “Grassroots Power: Community-Led Initiatives in Climate Change Mitigation” and developing content to showcase these initiatives. This includes preparing case study templates, such as the Introduction Card and Structured Writing Template, to compile key data and detailed analyses.
  • DeMRV Solution Development: Initiated the DeMRV concept as a decentralized carbon removal referee, using a DAO structure and digital MRV tools for continuous, detailed monitoring and enhanced transparency.

Community Updates #

  • Podcast Recording: Recorded Podcast EP 1 last Friday. Materials are available on the green.er Google Drive. Collaboration setup is in progress. Mobile recordings from everyone need to be collected and uploaded to the Drive.

Science Updates #

  • Data Pipeline Coordination: Communicated between tech and science teams to align data formats for each stage of the data pipeline.

Tech Updates #

  • Project Refactoring: Refactored the project to make it more modular and simplified the data collection module.
  • API Update Confirmation: Confirmed API updates based on the 100 pilot plan, simplified the carbon calculation part, designed a mock API, and documented it.
  • API Coding and Review: Completed the API coding and are currently conducting a code review.
  • Global State Management Comparison: Conducted a detailed comparison of various global state management implementations. The comparison covered Context API, Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, and MobX, highlighting their strengths and suitable use cases for different application complexities and scalability requirements.
